The Virginia STEAM Academy Way will be embodied in the students, faculty, and staff.

The Academy’s distinctive curriculum and residential life experience will allow students to develop deep and cross-cutting content in an applied learning context with like-minded, like-motivated peers, exceptional faculty and practicing experts in the field.

The Teaching and Learning Curriculum and Outcomes Measures subcommittee is working diligently to appropriate recommendations from the Virginia STEAM Academy’s Standards-Setting Panel and Business Leaders Symposium into a clear description of diploma, badging, and credentialing opportunities that will distinguish Virginia STEAM Academy graduates. The Teaching and Learning subcommittee is made up of a mix of dedicated secondary and higher education, business, science and engineering, and humanities experts.
